Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, crushed garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, ground black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Place the pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 63°C.
- Alternatively, preheat the oven to 190°C. Place the pork chops on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 63°C.
- For slow-cooking, place the pork chops in a slow-cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until tender and fully cooked.
