Slow Cooker Malaysian Inspired Chicken Curry Recipe

Fragrant coconut milk, aromatic spices like turmeric and coriander, a touch of cinnamon, and the zing of lime juice come together in a fusion of flavours. Paired with our tender chicken, this curry is quick and easy to make, we made it in the slow cooker, and it turned out absolutely delicious!


  • 500g of fresh diced chicken breasts
  • 3-4 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2.5cm of fresh ginger, chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp of ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp of ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp of curry powder
  • 2 tbsp of mango chutney
  • 300ml of coconut milk
  • Squeeze of lime juice


  1. Place all the ingredients into the slow cooker and stir to combine well.
  2. Put on the heat and cook for 5 hours at low heat or 3 hours on high heat.
